Test Sieves

We often see sieves being used in the kitchen to separate liquid from solid food or to aerate or loosen flour. But there are also test sieves used in civil engineering to check the particle size distribution or gradiation of materials. The material like soil or some land is tested for use in building roads or structures. It is important to know if it is safe to create such structure on that piece of land or know the necessary steps or what else may be needed in order to create the structure on that land. It may look like a simple tool but it is very helpful in its application.
